My grandson recently spent almost three weeks at my house in Houston recuperating from a severe case of COVID-19. I had a down blanket on the bed he slept in, and when he remarked how wonderful he thought it was, I ordered one from you and had it shipped to his home in Phoenix, AZ as a gift. When he got home he texted me:

The message was accompanied by a picture of the blanket on his bed. I wish I knew how to extract the photo from my iPhone to send it to you.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this blanket. It is soft and has a slight “slick” touch to it. I put it in the dryer for 5 minutes or so to fluff it. Looks good on the bed. Tonight will be the first night using it but based on what I see it should be a great nights sleep. Being hot natured I detest those heavy blankets, quilts and comforters that say they are lightweight only to find out the opposite. The color is deceiving. I purchased a blue blanket but it looks light green when lights are on but blue under natural light. Well made and for the price I am pleased.

I was looking for a lightweight down comforter or blanket, the traditional comforter I have is too heavy and falls to the floor, it gets too hot as well. The one well-known vendor I know online got WAY too expensive for me and I found the PUREDOWN website. I ordered the King size light down blanket, because someone keeps grabbing the blankets over to his side with the Queen size I currently have. At first the PUREDOWN product delivery looked very thin, however I fluffed it up and after a few days it does puff up. This lightweight down blanket is more comfortable than my heavy quilt type of product. This keeps us comfortably warm in the winter in New Jersey just fine! I have enough blanket to keep to my side with the King size. I love the Ice Blue color, it is a delicate light color. I really like this down blanket!

Purchased two of these down blankets because they were on sale. Got a white and a gray one (pictured). Have only used the gray so far but the size is perfect. I like a lightweight covering when I sleep because I get warm easily. This weight seems to be just right. It's a thin cotton fabric and we have pets so I plan to get a coverlet or matelassé to protect it. I am quite happy so far.

This review is not for the down blanket. It is for the exceptionally poor customer support. The down blanket was ordered several weeks ago and it has not yet been shipped. Several emails to PureDown have resulted in no information regarding shipping of the blanket or when I can expect delivery. Since it was ordered as a Christmas present and it is now December 22nd I can assume that I will not be receiving the blanket in time to give it as a gift. I doubt I will ever order anything from this company again.

Wasn’t sure of the color on the internet but it’s exactly what I wanted, a lovely light sage green. I sleep hot even during our VERY chilly nights. This blanket, under our cotton spread, is perfect! I’m warm and cozy but not hot. The fact that this can be washed is a plus for me as is the 100% cotton fabric. We’ve had a down blanket for years but this one is much better overall. We are really pleased with this! Delivery was quick and the blanket arrived just in time for our first snow!

After reading all the reviews I bought the light weight down blanket. I am so disappointed in this light weight down blanket. The material is stiff and makes crinkly sounds. The cotton is not soft. Decided to wash and see if that helped. I washed in cold water low dry. This is the most wrinkled fabric I have ever seen. The weight is good and after washing the crinkly sound was better. I'm just not a happy customer. Too much money for the product.
I bought a light weight down blanket years ago, less money, from Bed Bath and Beyond that I love. Soft beyond belief and I needed another on for a queen bed. Thought I had found it. No. I'm so disappointed. I would not recommend to anyone else.

I am pleased with this purchase. I had a very, very old duck down blanket and was wary to replace it. This particular blanket is a bit warmer and thinner. It is not quite as fluffy as the previous blanket I had but works well. I also appreciate having color choices! If you are looking for a blanket(NOT a comforter), this is a great choice.

Very nice comforter!!!! I needed a light weight for summer and since this has only 10 oz of fill it was perfect. I did cut it down to a twin size to fit my duvet covers and it was really perfect.
I'm sleeping well. The fabric is great with no down escaping and it's texture along with the satin binding helps get it into my duvet cover easily. Lovely product and I'm glad I bought it.

The down fill is so thin the blanket looks more like a sheet. Need to use another covering just to be warm enough to sleep. Would like to return it for one with a bit more fill but the packing materials were thrown away.

The blanket arrived quickly and is just the right weight. Unfortunately, our geriatric cat threw up on it within a week. When washed and dried, it appears to have shrunk a bit, although I have not actually pulled out the tape measure. Such is life. We will continue to use and enjoy.
