What makes this comforter "organic cotton"? 

Our feather and down comforters with corner loops are made with a 100% GOTS-certified organic material cotton cover. This means the cotton is grown without harmful pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or GMOs, ensuring a pure and natural sleep surface that's gentle on your skin and the environment. 

I notice dark spots through the cover of this organic cotton comforter. Did I receive a defective product?

Please note that the small dark spots through the cover are crushed cotton exocarp, which is natural and safe.

Is the all-season comforter suitable for hot sleepers?

This comforter provides medium warmth. Your comfort level will depend on your room temperature, climate, and personal preference. If you sleep hot or prefer less insulation, consider our lightweight option.

Why does the cotton shell make a rustling sound?

Our organic cotton shell is not treated with chemical softeners, allowing it to retain its natural texture. You may notice a gentle rustling sound as the fabric moves—this is a natural characteristic of the shell.

How do I fluff this down comforter?

To fluff this down comforter, gently shake it or fluff it up manually. This helps redistribute the fill and restores the loftiness of this down comforter.

Why does my down bedding have a scent?

A light scent is completely natural — it comes from the tiny amount of natural oils in down that keep it soft, fluffy, and resilient. Even the cleanest, high-quality down can carry a faint odor, which some people notice more if they have a sensitive sense of smell. The scent can seem stronger right after opening the packaging, and warmth, humidity, or lingering moisture can also make it more noticeable.


At Puredown, all of our down is thoroughly cleaned and certified by RDS, ensuring it’s safe, hygienic, and free from harmful chemicals. We never use heavy chemical treatments to cover the natural scent, so you can enjoy a healthier and more natural product.

The scent will fade with time and use. To freshen your comforter, simply air it out in a sunny, breezy spot for a few hours. If you’d like to speed things up, you can tumble dry it on low heat for a short cycle to let fresh air circulate through the fill.
