FAQ

What does "GOTS-certified organic cotton" mean?

GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard certification, which is the world's leading processing standard for textile products made from organic fibers. It means that our cotton is grown without toxic pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Furthermore, GOTS certification ensures environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing throughout the entire supply chain, from harvesting the raw materials to labeling the finished product.

How is organic cotton different from conventional cotton?

The main difference lies in the farming practices, as conventional cotton uses large amounts of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, which are harmful to the environment, farm workers, and can potentially leave residues in the final product. Whereas, organic cotton is grown with natural methods that ensure soil protection, water conservation, resulting in a fabric that is better for you and the planet.

Is organic cotton bedding good for sensitive skin or allergies?

Absolutely! Since organic cotton bedding is grown without harsh chemicals, pesticides, or dyes, it is a perfect choice for sensitive skin or allergy sufferers.

How does a mattress pad differ from a mattress topper?

A mattress pad is a thin layer designed primarily to protect your mattress from stains, spills, dust, and wear, while also adding a slight layer of comfort. A mattress topper, on the other hand, is thicker and focuses on enhancing comfort, support, and cushioning, often significantly changing the feel of your mattress.
